Costello’s Bedroom fling

Record Mirror

Elvis Costello releases a new album on June 25 – but it won’t be another country record.

Unlike Costello’s “Almost Blue” album, which came out 18 months ago, “Imperial Bedroom” contains 14 new tracks, one written with Chris Difford of Squeeze.

The album was produced by Geoff Emerick who worked extensively with the Beatles and who was involved with Paul McCartney’s latest album.

“You Little Fool” a cut from the album, will be released as a single on June 11. The single features two tracks on the B side, “Big Sister” and “The Stamping Ground”.
