Night 6 of 10 of EC's no repeat residency at the tiny Gramercy Theatre in New York City. The first officially billed Steve Nieve show. Another great show and great recording, with more rare tunes played. The only Byline and The Final Mrs. Curtain ever. Tiny Steps and WFTEOTW are worth the download alone. Another different arrangement of PLU and Steve sings most of this one. There will be a couple more uploads of these shows. Samples below. Again, there are many great stories from EC and more poignant words about Burt Bacharach, Elvis' friend and collaborator, who passed away the night before this run of shows started. Recorded from a a prime balcony spot.

A note. There was a woman nearby who found anything remotely clever said by Elvis absolutely hilarious. It's only between songs and I did what I could, but you will occasionally hear her. It's not terrible. Hopefully through the magic of bootlegging, she will hear herself someday, and perhaps become a little more self aware and dial it back a bit.
