Back with the Attractions, the prolific Elvis turns out another solid album, full of sharp phrases ("Honey, Are You Straight Or Are You Blind?"), pop-music psychology ("Home Is Anywhere You Hang Your Head") and solid rock 'n' roll ("Tokyo Storm Warning" has echoes of the Rolling Stones). He still refuses to play the hit single game, which may cut out some potential listeners. But then, maybe they wouldn't get him anyhow. Anyone who keeps providing enjoyable music with lyrical substance we should keep.
