Elvis Costello and Mink DeVille are teamed for a "new wave" rock concert Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Egyptian Ballroom of the Fox Theater.

The event will be staged as a dance party rather than a concert, impresario Alex Coo1ey's office announced.

Costello, a British performer, drew considerable attention last year with his album, My Aim Is True. His new album, This Year's Model, has solidified his reputation.

Mink DeVille is a five-man group whose leader is guitarist-singer Willy DeVille. The band's second album, A Return to Magenta, has just gone into release.
