Comments
- The first show is credited as being from Essen, Germany 1978-07-02, but is in fact the Rockpalast show, Cologne, 1978-06-21, which was broadcast on TV on 1978-07-02 & 1978-12-23. The second show is from the Montreux Jazz Festival, Montreux, Switzerland, 1980-07-12.
Quality
- Both recordings sound fine. Although the 2nd show sounds a little better, the 1st show is the stronger of the two. In the 2nd show Bruce Thomas does some incredibly bad singing on Oliver's Army. - Dean Martucci
- The Rockpalast show is a very good performance & the sound quality is very similar to The Rise And Rise Of Declan MacManus, almost mono. The second show has very good sound and is again almost mono. - Francois Drouin
