40 years on ...................................... This is a first generation recording from the mighty Gordy from 1982 who attended two of the Scottish gigs in 1982 when there were no Irish concerts for him to attend. The band revert to the normal setlists with just the insertion of Smokey's "Walk And Don't Look Back", where Steve plays a funny little organ phrase rather than the usual guitar riff Elvis played throughout the 1980 tour when Steve was absent and Martin Belmont deputised and a run of three "Almost Blue" tracks in tribute to the try out concert played at the Hotel Metro to give an airing for the South Bank Show documentary on the making of the C&W album. It's a shame the whole concert has never been released. Really decent recording with no glitches or tape flips. Lineage : TDK SA90 cassette > Nakamichi DR3 (no dolby) > NAD 660 CDR > EAC > Nero Platinum for track separation and pitch adjustment > TLH > FLAC > you
