A writer and former journalist, Richard Balls is the author of Be Stiff: The Stiff Records Story, published by Soundcheck Books in 2014. He also wrote Sex & Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll: The Life Of Ian Dury (Omnibus Press), which was first published in 2000 and has never been out of print. He is a lifelong fan of Elvis Costello and an avid collector. He is married with two daughters and lives in Norwich, where he is a long-time supporter of the Canaries.
