Elvis Costello & The Attractions — who, in recent years, have made a habit of performing a number of special Christmas shows — will be dispensing the festive spirit again this year by way of three seasonal concerts. They'll be appearing at Birmingham Odeon (19 December) and London Hammersmith Odeon (21 and 22), and these are their only planned UK dates for several months.
All three shows will feature the production with which they toured the States so successfully in the summer, and the line of The Attractions will comprise Steve Nieve (keyboards), Bruce Thomas (bass) and Pete Thomas (drums), augmented by The TKO Horns (saxists Paul Speare and Jeff Blythe, trombonist Jim Paterson and trumpeter Dave Plews) and Afrodiziak (Caron Wheeler and Naomi Thompson).
Tickets are available immediately from box-offices and usual agents, priced £5.50 and £5 (Birmingham) and £7.50 and £6 (London).
